Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between web design and web development?

As experienced web designers, we understand that web design and development are closely related but work together differently in order to deliver a fully functional site. To begin with, web development involves writing code to create a website. Whereas website design makes the site more visually appealing and the most important information appear easily.
How do I asses the performance of my website?

You can do so by performing a website audit. Depending on who you are working with, a website audit can mean many different things. At INQOVA, we provide clients with a comprehensive analysis of their website and the solutions attached to it — think blog, collection presentations, concept pages and contact forms.

During the audit process, our web developers, designers and marketing team evaluate every single aspect of your site, from the framework and page load speeds to the design. By evaluating your site at this level, we can identify the changes that are needed to increase the quality of the visitor experience, which will in turn improve the profitability of your site. Wouldn't you want that for your business?
What is a digital showroom?

Digital showrooms sometimes referred to as virtual showrooms, are innovative ways to connect manufacturers to showcase their work online. It eliminates the need for a physical showroom and exhibitions to show new collections.

You can create and organise collections, including product details, pricing, and delivery information. INQOVA can also support you with 3D virtual sampling of your fabrics, which significantly reduces the need for physical samples.

Your customers are welcome to visit the showroom at any time that is convenient for them. They will be able to explore your new products and collections digitally, then request samples directly on the same platform. This is not a new concept. Since trade shows have been put on hold, the adoption of this new feature has increased. And is likely here to stay.
What is UX/UI?

UI is more properly known as User Interface and is a term used in design. UI design focuses on the look and feel, and the presentation of your website. These are the elements that your website visitors are most likely to notice while browsing. Animations and colours are examples of UI elements.

UX refers to User Experience and is concerned with improving the ease of use between the customers and the website. You may not be aware that these elements impact your visitors, but they do. UX designers ensure, for instance, that your website is easy to navigate and that important information can be found easily. They may use tools such as visitor recordings to determine where customers are having problems and implement changes to improve their experience.

They are often confused as interchangeable terms for a site's design. This is not the case, since there are some distinct differences between these two practices. UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) both affect how customers navigate your website; however, UI is responsible for the visible appearance of the site. In contrast, UX focuses on how visitors interact with your site and how easy it is for them to perform certain actions. It is clear that UI and UX have a close relationship, but these subtle differences in responsibilities make them stand out.
